Writing.
Many of us have had a point in
our lives when we felt compelled to write.
Too many people get to the point
too quickly, so that the whole story is fighting to get out at one time. This is
so confusing that the product of their labor is convoluted and and
unreadable. Disgusted, they put down their pens and never get that
wonderful story out to the world.
The fact is that there are
skills you need to learn to write well. Not everyone is lucky
enough to have Christian De Matteo teach them how to write. While
many of his students may not feel lucky, it is only because they are not
ready for the lessons yet.
We have taken the time to put
together this group of books to help you write the book that is crying
to be free. Do you want to write
fiction: mysteries, crime, adventure, love stories, science fiction,
horror, suspense? Do you have a cookbook in your head that tells a
story, or a travel book? Is it children's stories you'd love to
write? Would you like to turn a personal adventure into a
screenplay? Maybe you have a great idea for a TV show.
Is it your high school years, the antics, clowning, pranks, sorrows, and
first love that you'd like to write? You can do it.
You can make it interesting, and maybe you can even get someone to
publish it.
The best way to become a
published author is to write something, then find out what you did right
and what you must change. Once it is the best it can be,
get that manuscript out there, then sit down and start writing your
second one. There are a number
of books that can help with each one of these steps. The best of
these books you can see on this page. Learn how to conceive,
write, edit, and publish your memoir, screenplay, novel, short
story--whatever it is you want to get out of yourself and to the world! L. T. Goodlife
